The Finance Department is primarily responsible for providing support services including accounting, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing management, and investment of the Village’s financial assets. Likewise, the department is also responsible for preparing the annual operating budget and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The Finance Director also serves as the Village Treasurer and therefore also functions as the Treasurer for the Village’s Police Pension fund.

Under the direction of the Village Administrator, the Finance Department is responsible for maintaining the Village’s financial assets and providing excellent customer service to residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Department is the first point of contact for those who call the Village’s main phone line or walk into Village Hall. The Finance Department is responsible for utility billing (water, sewer, and refuse collection services).

All functions are performed in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws and policies.
