The Village of East Dundee offers a selection of deciduous trees on a 50/50 cost share basis for planting a new tree in the parkway adjacent to your home. The Village pays half of the cost of the tree and the resident pays the other half. The cost of the tree includes planting/mulching and a one year replacement guarantee.  Also included in this program are trees designated specifically for planting beneath overhead power lines.  By planting types of trees that grow to a lower height under power lines, we will be able to avoid severe pruning of the tree as it matures and conflicts with overhead utility lines.  Planting locations will be reviewed and approved by the Public Works Department.  Please call Public Works at (847) 426-2822 for more information and to request a review of your parkway.  View the 50/50 Parkway Tree Planting Program Flyer here.
