Thirsty Thursdays

Who’s thirsty? Grab a lawn chair and taste some beer at Thirsty Thursday at the Depot! You can try some craft beer or other beverages, grab dinner from a local vendor, and listen to live music from some of the best bands in the Chicago area. Each Thirsty Thursday will be at the Depot, located at 319 N. River Street in East Dundee, and will last from 6:00pm-9:00pm. We hope to see you there!


June 28th - Hillbilly Rockstarz
Hillbilly Rockstarz are Chicago’s premier country music band, specializing in covering the latest country music hits. From Miranda Lambert to Jason Aldean to Florida Georgia Line, Hillbilly Rockstarz will be sure to have you singing along and chanting “one more song” at the end of the night!
July 26th - Libido Funk Circus
libidofunkcircus Libido Funk Circus has been relentlessly entertaining a wide range of audiences since it’s inception in 1996. Over the years, LFC has quite literally become a human jukebox. From the hits of the good ole’ Motown days to the bass-thumping beats of today’s dance music; from the always danceable Disco grooves to the new wave rock of the 80’s… LFC has it “covered”. Libido Funk Circus is known throughout Chicagoland for being wildly entertaining and audiences across the area have come to recognize Libido Funk Circus as a show that can’t be missed!
August 30th - HiFi Superstar

HiFi Superstar is a Billboard and MTV award-winning band who combines great party dance rock covers with a sprinkle of fresh originals. Billboard Award winners for their song "Milk and Honey". One of MTV’s VMA “Best Chicagoland Breakout Bands” for their song “Superstar”. They’ve opened for many national touring acts, worked with WTMX 101.9 FM and WXRT's 93 FM Local Anesthetic, been featured on WGN TV Channel 9 and ABC (WLS) Channel 7. This is one energetic live band you don’t want to miss.

Oktoberfest Scarecrow Decorating Competition

The Village of East Dundee is excited to announce that as part of our First Annual Oktoberfest, area businesses and organizations can participate by creating and decorating a scarecrow that will be displayed on the Depot Grounds throughout the three day festival. This fun competition offers an excellent way for businesses and organizations to promote themselves and take part in the fall festivities! East Dundee Annual Shredding Event

10:00AM - 12:00PM at 112 Railroad Street Parking Lot (Behind the Caboose/Duke's BBQ)
The Village’s annual shredding event will be taking place on Saturday, October 20th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or until the shredding truck is full. The event will be located in the Village parking lot behind the Caboose, generally located at 112 Railroad St. Both Village residents and nonresidents can bring sensitive documents to the event for safe disposal and recycling. While the event is free to Village residents, non-residents will be charged a $5 fee. All participants will be limited to 3 banker sized boxes. Due to the limited truck capacity, businesses will not be permitted to participate.
