Sponsored by the Village of East Dundee, the Farmers Market is on Sundays through end of October. It features ONLY food and horticultural products sold by local farmers, producers and businesses. This market showcases plant and vegetable farmers, infused balsamic vinegar, olive oils, pickles and pickled vegetables, New Orleans style cooking, breakfast sandwiches, fresh-from-the-oven breads, gourmet sweet treats and goodies, a vertical aeroponic growing systems and natural soaps, makeup (made from garden herbs) and soy candles. Only foods and horticultural products sold by local farmers, producers and businesses will be featured at the Farmers Market. Come enjoy the live music, daily raffles, various artists and more! Want to learn how to spin and toss colorful flags to exciting music, just like they do at parades and football games? Dundee's very own Allegiance Youth Color Guard has two award winning teams for students ages 7-13 and 14-22 who would like to be part of a unique activity that combines sports and the arts – all in one! Last season, both teams enjoyed an undefeated season and became 2014 Midwest Color Guard Circuit Champions in their respective divisions! Previous color guard experience is not required to join Allegiance – we will teach you! If interested, please attend our Open House/First Rehearsal at Dundee Middle School on Sunday, September 21st, 2014, 9am to Noon. Wine Down Wednesdays

5:00PM at The Depot, 319 N. River St., East Dundee

Held on the last Wednesday of this month, Wine Down Wednesdays will feature an opportunity for adults to taste different selection of wines from GERMANY while surrounded by german music and three-dimensional artists sponsored by Motl Accountants. We'll also be providing an opportunity to pre-register for a group art class offered by Artisticology of West Dundee. All are welcome!

DEPOT MARKET/ Appraisal Faire

8:00AM - 2:00PM at The Depot, 319 N. River St.

Sponsored by the Dundee Township Visitor’s Center, the Depot Market on Saturdays is open to all vendors and offers a different variety of products each week through October. The Depot Market will be enhanced this year to include a weekly historical speaker series as well as monthly antique appraisal faires. MIR Appraisals will have expereienced appraisers on hand from 11am-2pm today. The cost is $10 per item and you are limited to two items. You are encouraged to come early to sign up to secure a fifteen minute session with an appraiser. Call (847) 426-2255 for more information. Mir Appraisal specializes in appraising fine and decorative art, jewelry, antiques, furniture, and vintage couture. Their qualified appraisers and researchers abide by a strict code of ethics set forth by the International Society of Appraisers.
