Sunday Farmers Market--Adoption Event!

Join us down at The Depot for the Farmers Market! We're excited to have Klein's Farm and Gardens back and Waterfall Glen Soap Company and Butter and Flour joining us for the season along with lots of wonderful artisans!

This Sunday we are hosting an Adoption Event. Local rescues, such as Ellie's Animal Rescue, will be on hand for you to find a new furry friend! Not ready to adopt a pet? Come down anyway and make your own stuffed dog! (Limit 1 per child with $1 donation to Dundee Foundation.)

Jamie Wise and Sean Toedman Memorial 3 on 3 Hoops Tournament

All proceeds of the tournament are donated in the name of Jamie Wise and Sean Toedman to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tournament coverage by the local papers and highschoolcube.com.

Looking for sponsors and teams! Concessions will be available for purchase during event. Prizes will be given to top finishers in each division. Awesome raffle, too!

Over one hundred cars are displayed along River Street in East Dundee's downtown district.

Presented as a fun evening event, it features air personality and DJ, Rudy K, playing sounds of summer music.

There are on-site raffles and food and beverages available for purchase from surrounding pubs and restaurants.

All car types and models welcome; no registration fee required.

Join us down at The Depot for some FREE family friendly fun! Our guests will be Ac-Rock--Chicago's premier a cappella quartet, singing classic rock 'n roll favorites from the fifties forward. Ac-Rock sings boomer rock in stunning vocal harmony without instrumental accompaniment. It's an engaging mix of tightly-crafted music and freewheeling humor that pleases audiences of all ages.

New this year--kid-friendly box lunch options available from two local, family-friendly restaurants!

Join us for a chance to taste different wines from different countries; listen to live music; sample small plates of food; and shop the wares created by local artisans, all in a beautiful outdoor venue located in East Dundee's downtown business district.

Budding artists will be able to create their own oil on canvas in one sitting at classes being offered onsite by Artisticology from 7-9 PM. Reservations are encouraged and a fee applies. To register call (847) 707-4433 or email crystal.starr0213yahoo.com.

Splash & Dash Youth Triathlon

Registration closes July 3. There is no “day of” registration.

The triathlon takes place at the Sleepy Hollow Pool and surrounding neighborhoods. Race distances are different for each age group and starts will be staggered to provide the best conditions for the participants and spectators. Participants receive a t-shirt. Awards ceremony will follow completion of the triathlon. Medals will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place in each age group for both genders.

Historical Walks -- "Dundee Churches"

11:00AM - 12:00PM at The Depot, 319 N. River St.

Here's your chance to have a look inside some of the oldest churches in Dundee.

Join local historian and author Phil Aleo on a walking tour that explores the history of East Dundee's Immanuel Lutheran and United Methodist churches and St. James church in West Dundee.

Departure time is 11 am from The Depot.

The walking tour runs 60-90 minutes -- wear comfortable shoes.

(The tour is free but a $5 donation to the Dundee Foundation is suggested.)
